| Children’s Facilities & Policy |
Kwantu offers family rooms which are situated within an enclosed section of the reserve.
Supervised activities for children are available such as:
- tennis and cricket etc;
- guided tours to the Kwantu touch farm where children can be entertained for hours;
- entertainment/play room where children can view special programs and be kept busy with various board games and fun activities.
Children are allowed on the game drives.
First aid is available 24 hours a day.
Kwantu offers a total of 22 rooms.16 rooms have double beds with spacious sleeper couches for the children and 6 rooms are triples with spacious sleeper couches for children.
The rooms in our upmarket boutique hotel are inter-leading and are spacious for kids to play in. The hotel also has a 24 hr café, library area, lounge areas and a TV area.
Dinner and Breakfast are included for a one night stay. The hotel also has a 24 hr café which serves a range of dishes, including children favourites. This is an alcohol free establishment.
Kwantu offers Conference facilities and special arrangements are made for weddings. Kwantu also offers day visits, visits to our predator educational centre, safari walks and elephant sanctuary visits. The nearest doctor is approximately 40 km away in Grahamstown. |
