Shishangeni Private Lodge welcomes children of all ages. In the interest of personal safety, children under 6 years are not allowed on game drives and only those over 12 years are permitted on game walks.
Shishangeni offers child-care facilities.
Each of the 22 individual chalets is luxuriously appointed with a private game-viewing deck as well as mini bar, fireplace, outdoor shower and sitting area.
Inter-leading rooms for families are available upon request.
Experience sublime cuisine at Shishangeni Lodge whether it be a buffet breakfast on the deck, lunch at the poolside, a 3-course dinner by candlelight or boma braai (barbecue) under the stars.

Shishangeni Lodge is situated a mere 5 hours from Johannesburg. The central facility of the lodge consists of a spacious lounge, library, intimate bar, swimming pool, as well as an indoor and outdoor dining area, wine cellar and gymnasium.

The rate is R 2 450 per person per night sharing, which is valid till 31 October 2007.
There is a 50% single supplement rate.
Children under 6 years are free of charge.
Children of 6 to 12 years of age pay 50% of the adult rate and children over 12 years of age pay the full adult rate.
The Rates Include: Full board, national park fees and scheduled game activities.
The Rates Exclude: all beverages and transfers.
