Well-known for its unique views overlooking the spectacular Knysna Lagoon and the Heads, Bradach Manor is a comfortable, 4-star guest house, offering visitors the ideal setting from which to explore the wonders of the Garden Route.
| Children’s Facilities & Amenities |
Bradach Manor welcomes children of all ages.
Bradach Manor offers its guests a choice of seven individually decorated rooms. All the rooms are fully serviced with modern, en-suite bathrooms, fans for summer, heaters for winter, safes and bar fridges, tea/coffee facilities and televisions with DStv and SABC channels.
From the five lagoon-facing rooms and the lodge’s sitting room with its massive picture windows, the beauty of Knysna is quite astounding. The lagoon-facing rooms either have balconies or roof terraces, with a commanding view of this amazing geographical feature.
The two courtyard rooms offer a very reasonably-priced alternative for the more price-conscious traveller and the spacious honeymoon suite features a spa bath and private balcony.
Children are accommodated either in a separate room, in a cot or a mattress will be supplied in the parents room, all at no additional charge.
The dining room overlooks the water and leads onto a long verandah and the pool deck below. A full English & continental breakfast is served, either in the dining room or al fresco on the terrace overlooking the lagoon. A light meals menu is available throughout the day and in the evenings. Dinner is prepared on request.
Children may order off our existing menu, but we are flexible in making the portion that the parents want or something different.
Bradach Manor is at the heart of the Garden Route and offers guests the ideal base for whale-watching, mountain-biking, hiking and sailing. For the avid golfer, five of South Africa’s best golf courses are situated nearby.
Bradach Manor is an imposing building with unrivalled views over the Knysna Lagoon and through the Heads out to the Indian Ocean. The origins of the building are obscure but it has been built in the form of a small castle and dominates the hillside above the town. It is, indeed, the first building that you notice driving in from Cape Town across the lagoon.
The name Bradach was chosen by a previous owner. The only interesting facet of the name is that it appears to be derived from the same Irish surname as Brady, which rather dubiously translates as large breasted.
Bradach Manor has an exquisite pool overlooking the lagoon and Knysna. There is an honesty bar, full of character, with a pool table and endless patios and decks with fabulous views.
The lodge also offers its guests e-mail and fax facilities, a full laundry service, satellite TV, tourism info desk and airport transfers.
At Bradach Manor, professionalism and personalised service ensure that your requirements are met promptly and efficiently. |
