This magnificent, well-known Cape Town building boasts sweeping views of Table Mountain, the Harbour and Table Bay. Dating back to the 1920’s, the lodge is exceptionally stylish with an impressive white exterior and attractive wooden-framed windows.
Floreal House welcomes children of all ages.
Floréal House offers all the services you would expect of a 4-star hotel. The nine exceptionally comfortable rooms are all fitted with fans and heaters, tea/coffee - making facilities, and en-suite bath and/or shower. Each room has a television and a mini-bar and all the facilities one would expect from a four-star establishment.
The room interiors are classic and unfussy, with polished pine floors and newly-refurbished curtains and linens. The nine rooms are extremely well-appointed, with spacious and classy tiled en-suite bathrooms.
The family room is very large with a private sitting room and self-catering facilities. The room has a double bed sleeper couch which is suitable for children.
A sumptuous, full English breakfast is served every morning in the dining room or around the pool in the garden - an impressive array of fresh fruits, cold meats, cheeses and smoked salmon, as well as a range of cooked breakfasts. A light meals menu is available all day and dinner is available on request.
There is a wide range of excellent restaurants nearby and transfers to and from these establishments can be arranged.
Cape Town, the mother city, boasts many magnificent hotels and lodges. One of the best positions, however, is enjoyed by Floréal House. The building dates back to the 1920’s and has been magnificently restored with original pine floors and huge windows with sweeping views over the harbour and the Cape Flats and up towards Table Mountain.

The colourful gardens are home to plentiful birds and squirrels and the pool provides the perfect place to while away the hours on a sun-bed with a large gin and tonic and a view over the city and the bay to Bloubergstrand and the Hottentots-Hollands Mountains in the North.
Floréal House is in Oranjezicht, close to the centre of Cape Town, the waterfront and the beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton, but away from the urban bustle and noise. Oranjezicht is open and safe, with many attractive buildings and huge, open parks. The lodge has 24 hour security and secure parking. |

Rates are on a per person per night sharing basis. The supplement for single occupancy is 50%.
All rates are inclusive of a full English breakfast.
A deposit of 50% of the total cost of accommodation is required to confirm all bookings.

Between 8 and 14 days of start of booking - 75% of full cost of stay;
Between 15 and 21 days of start of booking - 50% of full cost of stay;
Between 22 and 28 days of start of booking - 25% of full cost of stay.
