All weather venue
As an all-weather venue, the Two Oceans Aquarium is an ideal destination for families.
Holcim Children’s Play Centre
The Holcim Children’s Play Centre offers oceans of fun for children between four and ten years of age. Drawing, painting, clay modelling and daily puppet shows are some of the activities on offer in the Centre.
The Centre also has its own modular play system for children needing to let off some steam!
The Touch Pool
The Touch Pool is a favourite exhibit with children as they are able to get their hands wet and inspect animals such as anemones and crabs as well as items washed up on the beach.
Dedicated children’s play centre in restaurant
The Aquarium’s restaurant, Shoreline Café, houses a dedicated children's play centre complete with ‘grass’ and funky, durable made-for-kids furniture as well as a modular play system.
Catering for small fry
Shoreline Cafe specifically caters for small fry with an extensive kids' menu – mini cereal boxes, Purity, French toast and fish fingers are just some of the treats waiting to be enjoyed. Stand-alone baby high chairs, toddler-proof glasses, funky kids’ crockery, and a spacious and comfortable baby changing area further ensure that children are adequately catered for.
First Aid
A number of Aquarium staff are trained in First Aid and are available to assist with minor injuries and ailments. Paramedics from the V&A Waterfront respond promptly to deal with emergencies.
